Paula received her cosmetology license in 1997 from Sherman Kendall Academy. During her training she had the opportunity to work with the Vidal Sassoon creative team from London on the AIDS benefit runway show, she worked on a C.B.S. movie of the week and attended some TIGI cutting classes.
Upon graduation she was hired on the hit television series “Touched By An Angel”. She continued to work in the film and television industry on a variety of other projects until 2004. After wrapping production on “The World’s Fastest Indian” she left the industry for salon work and to start a family.
On occasion Paula still works in fashion and beauty photography doing hair and makeup.
Paula is certified by “Great Lengths” hair extensions used by many celebrities in the film and music business and loves giving women with fine hair the extra thickness they have always wanted!
In 2009 she received “Best Colorist” from Salt Lake Magazine’s “Best of the Beehive”.
Also in 2009, Paula recieved her cut and color certification from “DevaCurl” and loves celebrating natural curls by setting them free with the right cut and products they deserve.
Most of all Paula loves the life balance the salon business offers and enjoys working with her amazing clientele.
